Steve Ashley returns to The Queens Head, One of the major players in the often turbulent world of folk rock, Steve will always be remembered for his ground breaking work with the early Albion Band and of course the seminal album 'Stroll On' rated by many critics as as influential as 'Liege and Lief'. Steve has of course moved on and is still writing and performing songs of real substance.
Now the subject of a biography which apparently tells the whole truth about the folk rock explosion, Steve returns to Belper with songs old and new. And,yes, I'm sure he will perform 'Fire and Wine'.
Support for the night comes from Joel Davis who surprised a few people with his set at this year's Belper Goes Green Festival. One to watch out for.
