Rising fully formed in late 2012 from the ashes of Tower Struck Down, Jugopunch and The Clay Faces,the band were quick to make their mark on the festival scene opening the Tolpuddle Festival in 2013 where the Stoke on Trent sound clearly won the crowd over and set the scene for a great weekend.
A year later their first album 'Muster' was released to favourable reviews with comparisons being made with The Jam and The Levellers while acknowledging the uniqueness of The Headsticks sound.
Their new album 'Feather and Flame' has drawn even more rapturous reviews for its 'addictive melodies and barbed lyrics.
Occupying the zone where folk and punk collide, expect an evening of roots rock and roll and punked up energy. Support is from Chris Butler whose own records have received enthusiastic reviews. There will be a range of new and more established Butlertunes.
