Also on the bill are Chris Butler with some new Butlertunes and Matt McGuinness of Karl and the Marx Brothers, Derby's prime exponents of 'angry folk' and a band clearly on the cusp of something. Doors at 8.00pm and feel free to bring any items of non-perishable food for Hope for Belper.
As austerity bites so does the We Shall Overcome movement rally in support of those in most need. This time, we welcome Joe Solo, one of those who kick started the movement nearly one year ago. Musician, writer, broadcaster, poet, activist and washing machine engineer, Joe hails from Scarborough where he also finds the time to host a show on Radio Scarborough, research the WW1 history of the Hull Pals Battalion and work with underprivileged children helping them to celebrate their lives in music. Something of a renaissance man !
