Where folk and punk collide. Support from The Trent Vale Poet ! Formed from the ashes of The Clay Faces, Stoke on Trent's finest are usually categorised as Celtic Punk. The folk influences are there for sure as is the punk attitude and energy. However, Headsticks' writing and performance manages to encompass a wider range of roots with even a country tinge to some songs. They started as a four piece in late 2012 and by July 2013 were opening at The Tolpuddle Festival where they set the standard for an excellent weekend. A year later and their debut album 'Muster' was released to widespread acclaim and it really is a fine album with a musical and emotional range to satisfy all.
